His work has been featured in the anthologies Unsavory Elements: Stories of Foreigners on the Loose in China<\/em> and Inside the Ropes: Sportswriters Get Their Game On<\/em>. Dan is also the founding editor of Shanghaiist.com, which grew into one of the most widely read English-language websites about China. After almost a decade in China, followed by more than eight years in Brooklyn, New York, he now lives in Media, Pennsylvania, with his wife Bliss, their daughter Izzy, and the family dog Drexler.<\/p>\n
